I'm a teacher and researcher, with a background in Mechanical Engineering (Ph.D. from IIT Kanpur, India in 2020). Previously, I was a Postdoctoral researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden and at IIT Kanpur, India. Moreover, I worked in the steel industry (ESSAR Steel India Ltd.) as a safety engineer.

I am passionate about phase change processes, multiphase flows and heat transfer systems. My research focuses on developing efficient and reliable cooling solutions, crucial for energy systems and electronics. At SMS, IIT Bhubaneswar, our goal is to obtain sustainable engineering solutions for the energy sector, considering safety and environment.

I come from the beautiful valley city of Pithoragarh in Uttrakhand, India (See Photos). I enjoy bringing creativity to both my academic and extracurricular work.
